Dollar Tree Closing

Westwood Net Lease Advisors President, Chris Schellin, closed a single tenant Dollar Tree in Shawnee KS today.

The buyer was a past client of Westwood who was seeking property as part of a 1031 exchange. After spending 21 days locating potential replacements both the buyer and Westwood agreed the Dollar Tree was a good fit as it offered investment grade credit with a new 10 year lease and was part of a major shopping center in a higher income suburb of Kansas City. The deal was funded all cash and closed with 25 days of contract.
